Hi, my name is Ann Marie D., and I am the author for this blog! I live in the Northeast part of the US. I am a retired nurse, mother of 3 grown kids and 4 (soon to be 5) grandkids! I love everything to do with nature! I feel very grateful to have a backyard that assists me with my love for birds, wildlife and the forest! We are next to conservation land and wetlands! We have been fortunate to see deer, black bear, bobcat, wild turkey, opossum, raccoon families, bunnies, and so many varieties of birds! I have been a huge protector of our yard and surrounding forest! This blog will talk about my experiences, what can we do to help and many other tidbits of information about our co-habitants!
